I trust in God and His Word and I believe in His
promises. Philippians 4: 19 promises me
that He will “supply all of my needs according to His riches in Glory, in
Christ Jesus”. Believing in the last
part of that verse, in Christ Jesus, is key to my asking and having my needs
supplied. It is conditional. I must believe that God IS. Hebrews 11:6 tells me that “it is impossible
to please God without faith, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that
He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him”.
I come to Him in faith. I also come to Him asking for my needs, not my
wants, to be met. I believe that He
knows what I need even before I ask. He
has taught me not to pray selfish prayers.
I want my prayers to line up with God’s thoughts and plans for my life
and for the lives of the people I pray for.
When I receive His supply and experience His answers to my prayers my
faith grows even greater than it was before.
Remembering what He has done causes me to live in anticipation of what
He will do today and in my future. I am
grateful to God for His favor and His blessings in my life. He supplies all of my needs according to His
riches in glory. I live in an attitude
of gratitude and thanksgiving.
